Tony Nguyen is a litigation associate at The Sentinel Firm in the Complex Litigation and Wage-and-Hour Class Action Department. With a focus on prosecuting complex wage-and-hour class actions and Private Attorneys General Act (“PAGA”) representative actions, Mr. Nguyen is committed to defending and upholding the rights of employees across various industries in both state and federal court.
Mr. Nguyen was born to working-class immigrant parents and worked full-time throughout his college years across a variety of different fields including retail, food service, and manufacturing. This wealth of experience and understanding motivated him to pursue a legal career as an advocate for the working people. He obtained his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, recognized for their strong Labor and Employment Law program.
Due to Mr. Nguyen's dedication to the advocacy of worker's rights, he earned a Peggy Browning Fellowship with the Drivers Union, working alongside the Teamsters to represent rideshare drivers against unlawful deactivations (effectively a termination for gig-economy workers) in Washington state. Mr. Nguyen is licensed to practice law before all courts in the State of California.
