Samira R. Carpenter is a Litigation Associate at The Sentinel Firm, APC and a member of the Complex Litigation and Class Action team. Her practice focuses on complex wage-and-hour class actions and representative actions under the Private Attorneys General Act (“PAGA”). Ms. Carpenter is committed to advocating for employees in high-stakes litigation and protecting their workplace rights across all industries.
Prior to joining The Sentinel Firm, Ms. Carpenter first worked as a Certified Law Clerk and later as a Litigation Associate at a prominent litigation firm, where she gained substantial experience in complex civil litigation, including wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA representative actions, and consumer class actions. Her work contributed to significant recoveries for clients, including a $5 million wage-and-hour class action settlement on behalf of employees and a $3.3 million settlement in a consumer rights class action.
Ms. Carpenter earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, where she was a recipient of the Wildman-Schumann Scholarship. During law school, she was actively involved in several student organizations. Most notably, she served as President of the Environmental Law Society and as a Peer Mentor, where she assisted first-year law students in navigating the academic demands of law school and developing effective study strategies. Ms. Carpenter is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
