Janani Natarajan is an associate attorney focused on law and motion practice at The Sentinel Firm in the Complex Litigation and Wage-and-Hour Class and Representative Actions Department. Throughout her academic and legal career, Ms. Natarajan has pursued public interest work and brings that same strong and compassionate advocacy to The Sentinel Firm by defending the rights of employees in California. Ms. Natarajan is the proud daughter of working-class immigrant parents, which initially inspired her to pursue a career in legal advocacy.
Her interest in workers' rights grew from her time at various legal aid organizations, during which she advocated for individuals with disabilities who faced discrimination and barriers to reasonable accommodations in their workplaces. Prior to joining The Sentinel Firm, she litigated a high volume of environmental and consumer protection matters on behalf of California consumers who had been exposed to hazardous chemicals in consumer goods.
Ms. Natarajan earned her B.S. in Public Health and B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego. She received her J.D. from LMU, Loyola Law School, where she served as President of the Women's Law Association and worked to overturn wrongful convictions in Los Angeles County through Loyola's Project for the Innocent. Ms. Natarajan is licensed to practice law in the State of California.
