Evelyn Medrano is a litigation associate at The Sentinel Firm and a member of the firm's Complex Litigation and Class Action team. Her practice focuses on complex wage-and-hour class actions and representative actions brought under California's Private Attorneys General Act (“PAGA”). Ms. Medrano is committed to advocating for employees and protecting their workplace rights across all industries.
Ms. Medrano's path to becoming an attorney began years before law school through her work in civil litigation. She spent nearly a decade at a prominent litigation firm, beginning as legal support staff before later serving as a Certified Law Clerk during law school. During that time, she gained substantial experience handling complex litigation matters and developed the practical foundation that continues to shape her approach as an attorney.
Ms. Medrano earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School through the school's Part-Time Evening Program while working full time. During her time at Southwestern, she was awarded the Wildman-Schumann Scholarship and was designated as a Dean's Merit Scholar during her final year in recognition of her academic achievement and dedication to the legal profession.
As the daughter of immigrant parents and a first-generation college graduate and attorney, Ms. Medrano brings a strong work ethic, resilience, and client-centered perspective to her practice. She is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
