Cole Cartledge is a Post-Bar Clerk for the Wage-and-Hour Claims class action team. He believes that workers are the core of our society, which means that safeguarding their rights is a critical responsibility. That principle drives him to be a fierce advocate, serving people across California by helping them recover what they are owed.
Mr. Cartledge brings a wide array of skills to the team. Notably, he developed his litigation experience through internships with the U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission, the California Department of Justice, and the ACLU of Southern California. Even before studying law, Mr. Cartledge worked as a legal assistant for a non-profit immigrant rights firm. With every position, he has always fought for the cases of everyday people.
Mr. Cartledge earned his Juris Doctorate from LMU Loyola Law School with a concentration in Public Interest Law. There, he received the “Alumni Association Award” for his exceptional contributions to the legal community and was honored as the 2026 “Outstanding Clinical Student” of the Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic. Among his achievements, Mr. Cartledge was a member of the first group of American law students to give a policy presentation to the Federal Senate of Mexico. Additionally, he also excelled in the rigorous Civil Rights Litigation Practicum and was selected to be the course's Research Assistant for the following year.
