Chloe Jo is a Post-Bar Law Clerk at The Sentinel Firm, APC, where she serves on the wage-and-hour class action team. She supports the firm's attorneys advocating for employees' rights and justice. In her day-to-day duties, Ms. Jo prepares detailed discovery, outlines arguments for motions, and drafts research memos analyzing statutory frameworks.
Ms. Jo's dedication to workers' rights is rooted in her passion for public interest law. Previously, she worked at a non-profit organization, where she gained insight into the intersection of environmental hazards and workplace safety. The experience and her coursework solidified her drive to protect vulnerable populations and her enthusiasm to fight for fair and just conditions for all workers.
Ms. Jo earned her Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and was a recipient of the Hamilton Fellowship. While at Columbia, she served as the Executive Editor for the Human Rights Law Review and honed her advocacy skills through her work in the Environmental and Climate Justice Clinic. Her academic research was recently recognized by the New York State Bar Association's Professor William R. Ginsberg Memorial Essay Contest (winning third place), and her work was published in New York Environmental Lawyers. Outside of the office, Chloe enjoys exploring new Los Angeles coffee shops.
